Famed for its juicy prime rib as well as a generous glass of wine, the Keg Steakhouse and Bar is one of LoDo's top meeting places for meat. The dark walls and lantern at each table gives the Keg a classy feel that is pure steakhouse. Starters include staples like calamari as well as nontraditional choices like bacon-wrapped scallops served with tangy cocktail sauce. But steak and prime rib are the Keg's claim to fame, and patrons should save a little space. The Better with Age steaks are marinated a minimum of 28 days for extra tenderness, while the Added Spice steak is slathered in zesty spices and seared on high to lock in flavor. All steaks' temperatures are clearly defined on the menu to ensure that yours is made to order. Not in the mood for steak? Try the Creole or teriyaki chicken or the Keg's prime rib dinner served with sauteed mushrooms, a baked potato and all the horseradish you can handle. The lunch fare has a few lighter options added, like the Half Keg Clubhouse and spicy chicken or sirloin salads.
