From the gleaming hardwood floors and handsome wooden community table to the fashionable vinyl furniture and groovy bar, there are plenty of hints from this ultra-modern Cherry Creek North newcomer that diners should pay attention. NoRTH, which is owned by the same restaurant outfit that runs Bloom, speaks chic, and the contemporary Italian fare follows suit, with an emphasis on pizzas, pastas, and artfully constructed "plates of the day." Thin-crust pizzas are topped with sophisticated combinations involving fennel-flecked sausage, caramelized onions, wild mushrooms, truffled arugula, prosciutto and melon, while generous pasta portions are permeated with parmesan cream, vine-ripened tomatoes, pine nuts, roasted garlic and basil. Main dishes proffer short rib osso buco, seared duck breast, and grilled ahi tuna, all paired with simple side dishes. The tragically hip scene may seem a little too fabulous for some, but the cocktails are potent, the dining room is bedecked with sexy stylings, and the culinary experiences are satisfying.

Cherry Creek posh.......
By ITALIANOSUPPAMAN on 06/11/2008
Would have to say the management is gracious and welcoming. The food is interesting and well presented. Not gourmet, by my standards, but good. Definitely a singles scene a couple of times a week. Rather consistent in food quality, service, and social norm. It is a noteworthy place and worth frequenting Bring money and a smile..

Dont get me wrong I still go here atleast 4 times a month- but its only for the scene- the single scene! The food is bland and overpriced! Ok, good pizza- and besides that go ona full stomach!

North Wins

As a Cherry Creek locaL my initial reaction to having another upscale Italian eatery close by was temperate at best; "yes while the decor is tasteful and new,the food is to die for. I am a North convert! They back up the hype.
