Serving comfort food that is darned greasy and downright perfect, Pete's is a late-night staple for filling grub that cures the nocturnal munchies. Top-notch diner food is served all day and throughout the night to regulars spanning several generations. Loyal patrons recognize the same customers frequenting the joint weekly, and first-timers begin an infatuation that can last a lifetime. The glowing neon sign welcomes visitors with arrows guiding them in. The line typically stretches clear out the door on Friday and Saturday nights, packed with night crawlers hankering for one of Pete's infamous gyros, ham and fried egg sandwiches or the hamburger steaks smothered with American chili and hash browns. Pete's Kitchen has won several Westword Best of Denver awards including Best Place After 2AM and Best Breakfast Burrito.

Best Breakfast in Town
By GFBArchitect on 06/11/2008
I drive 35 miles to Pete's every Saturday morning that I can for beakfast. I look forward to it. Very few cooks can cook eggs correctly every time. Pete's cooks can! The hamburgers are great too!

The Best Hands Down
By imjaiu on 01/19/2007
PETE'S KITCHEN RAWKS!! My favorite place to go to after a night of local music and many PBR's. I almost always order their breakfast burrito, because it's one of the best in the city and it's easy to slur for the server to understand at 3am. Go during the day for a tamer crowd, although the joint looks a little odd in the sunlight. And don't let the line out the door scare you away; You usually get seated within minutes. Thanks to Pete's, I now know what Police Officers, musicians, drunks, eccentrics, thugs, and Lodo-ites have in common: BREAKFAST!
