Televisions are everywhere at Sports Column, and they are all tuned to sports. It's in the cream of the crop of sports bars, and the top place in LoDo to take in a sporting event -- without ever having to pay scalper's prices. The bar is expansive (and dominated by those TVs, including five big screens) so there aren't any obstructed views. Team memorabilia lines the walls and hangs from the ceilings, and fans come decked-out in their favorite team jerseys. This place tends to be full of sports fanatics. Nabbing a seat here isn't an easy feat, especially during Bronco and Avalanche playoff games. But fans that can't snag a stool at the bar or at one of the tables generally just hoist their beers and stand among the boisterous fans. During the warmer months, the rooftop deck offers a nice place to nurse a beer and inhale a burger. Don't feel like eating? Hit one of the two pool tables or the video games. -- Lori Midson
