At this seriously expensive sake-fueled raw fish house, the servers are attractive, the cliental is needle-skinny glamorous, and the streamlined, urban-Zen space rivals the kind of sleek Japanese hangout you'd encounter in New York's Soho. The minimalist decor -- blond-wooded tables and chairs (the weight of a feather), pale hardwoods, and mirrored walls, mimic the understated sushi and sashimi that parades absolute freshness, as opposed to pretentious presentation. This is not a place for amateurs hankering for California rolls or jazzed-up rainbow rolls, but a bona fide sushi stop for seasoned raw fish-goers who don't blink an eye at spending upwards of $100 for omakase, a multi-course selection of the sushi chef's best offerings.
