Very, very good food
By tammybergman on 06/17/2006
This is one of THE best places we've eaten in Denver. Truly home-style food with excellent service. If you want southern food at it's best, look no further. The only downside is that they're only open for lunch, making it hard to get there as we don't often have days off during the week to be able to go. We sometimes take a long lunch or skip work for a day just to go to Tom's.

Something different for a change
By honestjim1 on 03/25/2005
Went there last Thursday for the first time after hearing people rave about it. I certainly wasn't disappointed. I had the Catfish which was awesome. No fishy taste, whatsoever. Also had the cabbage w/bacon and collard greens and topped it off with Sweet Potato Pie. Down home COMFORT FOOD at it's best. If you haven't had Soul Food in a while, give it a shot. You'll be back again, like me.

Definitely good home cookin for people that know what comfort food is all about
By candice0213 on 02/08/2005
This is the best comfort food my friends and I have found in Denver. We used to skip school just to eat it on Fridays. The service and decor are great for a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. We love it and have been going there for years, and will continue to do so. The fried chicken's the best!
