Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta Dipping Grill, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

blown away

It's hard to beleive that this place has been around for 10 years...that's what I found out when I went in for dinner the other night. I was in town, layed over from the blizzard, and wanted to find a great place to eat. I did some research, and decided that Vesta was the place for me. When I got there, I assumed that the restaurant was new to the Denver dining scene, but the waitress informed me otherwise. 10 Years is along time to be serving up incredible meals, and based on my perfectly grilled Venison with a couple outstanding, unique dipping sauces, Vesta has not missed a beat. The wine list is well rounded too...approachable, and created to fit your spending desires. I had gotten off to such a great start that I figured I would order an exspensive wine off the cellar list. I was not dissapointed. Also, the kitchen sent out a "chef taste" to start my meal...very unexpected and nice. The waitress (Mary I think) was awesome. She explained to me the menu, and how the concept worked, and generally took an interest in "little ol' me" dining by myself. It was great...next time I'm in Denver, I'm going to Vesta. If I know of anybody going to Denver, I'm sending them to Vesta.

Vesta Rocks!!!! Went in with a bunch of my girlfriends the other night and we were blown away. The vesta roll had the most delicious, freshest tuna I've ever had in it. The staff were so friendly and happy. They all look like they're having the best time working. The atmosphere is so sexy...you can tell they put so much thought into every detail. It's hard to believe it was built almost 10 years ago...what a Denver icon Vesta has become. Thank you Vesta for raising the bar for Denver and giving us such a fabulous place to dine!

I recently visited the Vesta Dipping Grill this past July. The atmosphere is romantic; it's nice. The staff was excellent, extremely friendly. I had the pecan pie salad which was interesting for summer fare; I ordered it though. It was pretty good. The vesta sushi roll was nice. Everything was nice, but not out of this world. I will eventually go back for another visit; it's just not at the top of my list.

Best Restaurant in Denver!
By jeanpaulhoulette on 01/29/2006
Anyone who says this isn't some of the best food they've ever tried is not really eating there. This isn't a "steal" from the Melting Pot because it isn't fondue. The Duck is phenomenal, and the ceviche is to die for. Oh,and the cheese plateis always good, ask for extra walnuts...you'll be glad you did.
