Tavern Pizza & Pasta Grill   

We aren't in West Des Moines anymore, but we really miss the pizza and grinders we always enjoyed at The Tavern. Haven't found a pizza to match it since moving away and "grinders" seem to be an unknown to anyone down here in Florida! Happy to hear The Tavern is still going strong!

They have a great thin crust pizza. The onion rings are great too.

If anyone can rate godfathers, happy Joes, pizza hut over the tavern pizza, they are pizza brain dead or related to the owner

I have been a long time customer. Visited approximately 4/28 at 5:30pm. We were a party of 4 plus 2 childrn. After approximately 30min., the waitress can and appologized saying it would be 8-10 min (had a large party). 15 min later we asked again..she said the parties order was in before ours. The mgr came 10 min later and told us it had been 14 min since our bar order was put in. Called us liars. Be careful here. They are not there to serve the customers and their pizza is simply adequate.
