The Detroit club offers plenty of thumping beats in its lively, avant garde atmosphere, along with a full bar and people watching aplenty. A lounge area gives dancers a chance to take a break or chat up a hottie. Leland draws hundreds of people each night, and prides itself on being a fun, comfortable hangout spot for music lovers looking to meet new people. The clothes are colorful, the glo sticks are bright and the beats are hypnotic.

I havent been to city club since 2000. I would like to visit again. Wonder is the same people go there? or will there be a bunch of young elitist goth snobs there?

Lelands City Club is where i have met the most dirty/amazing people.
i recommend this club to anyone who does like Industrial music, although the music choice could step up a bit to something better....cause something..honestly, their choice isn't always that great. But it's one of the best clubs i've been too. Considering i now live in Germany, City Club is still at the top of my list.
and Leland City Bites, has BY FAR the best burgers, and the BEST chili cheese fries...EVER

This place might give me cavities if i keep going as much as i do, but i cant get enough. great music, great peeps, and so much fun, best part they dont close till way beyond last call so you can dance alllllllll night long.
