There are a couple of reasons why you can't miss the Blarney Stone. First, their bleacher section towers above all others on Woodward Dream Cruise weekend, providing premium seats for the festivities. Second, of course, there's the brilliant kelly green that washes the building from tip to tail. From intimate seating to the stranger-friendly, U-shaped bar, Irish and otherwise sit over massive mugs of thick stout and dig into owner Suzie Q.'s famous (and fantastic) fish 'n' chips. It is a good place to squat for a drink at happy hour or maybe a quick bite to eat. Don't be surprised if you feel at home at the Blarney Stone, the little sister to the bi-level giant up the road, Duggan's. The luck -- and love -- of the Irish have become a family business for the Payne brothers and sisters who own both locations.
