Rate and Write a Review Dining at this ethnic joint is truly an adventure. From the elaborate and brightly colored African woodcarvings to the pleasant aroma of unique spices emanating from the kitchen, be prepared for a one-of-a-kind experience. Diners can choose between traditional booths or low wooden chairs that are much more comfortable than they look. Trust and unity is a theme in the Ethiopian culture and meals served on platters and shared by the entire dinging party further emphasize this. Menu choices are all-you-can-eat vegetarian or meat feasts all served on a large round of thin ''injera'' bread, used to scoop up main courses. Similar in consistency to many Indian dishes, Ethiopian food relies heavily on lentils, greens and spicy red pepper as staples. Truth be told, it's fun to let your fingers become your forks. In fact, kids who haven't mastered their etiquette classes will love dining here. Ethiopian honey wine may not bode well with sophisticated palates, but to the less picky, it's a nice accompaniment to the spicy fare.
