If you want tasty, reasonably priced Mexican food in an authentic atmosphere, head to Mexican Village Restaurant. The institution near the Ambassador Bridge has been serving up light, delicious comida since long before Mexicantown became a destination spot. Sample chicken mole, seafood enchiladas, chalupas or dozens of other dishes from the restaurant's dizzying menu. Mexican Village also serves up margaritas, sangria and other drinks, which patrons can sip in one of the restaurant's welcoming red booths or in the cozy cantina. The staff is friendly, the decor festive and the food earns raves from visitors -- it's easy to understand why this place has lasted for decades.

The Best

I've been going there for over 20 years. We live in Ypsilanti but will happily drive down for a great meal with a great price. My daughter is pregnant and craves this place!
