This a wonderful place to go for lunch, dinner or that very special occasion. The ambiance is very pleasing to your senses. The food it good and presented exquisitely and tastefully. Just spending a couple of hours in this wonderful setting makes you forget ... You really feel sort of rejunvenated. Service has improved immensely since it first open.
Treat yourself and/or take someone special this special dining venue. It is one of downtown's Detroit, newest jewel.
Someone that knows fine dining.
Sweet Georgia Brown is anything but sweet. The service is juvenile and poorly trained. Ask any of them about the wine list and they don't have a clue. The food is alright. You just have to be careful what you order. which is basically nothing. The ambiance is very tacky and gaudy. Someone needs to fire the interior deisigner and hire someone else. The piano is a cheap piece of junk. It sounds like a tin box and really needs to be tuned. The general set up of the restaurant is flawed. I highly recommend that you don't eat there. But perhaps you should go there so you know what a fine dining experience shouldn't be. I hope that Levan Hawkins learns from this mess and won't open another restaurant. I think he should stick to pizza, in which he doesn't do that very well either. Just remember everyone, just because it has a high price tag doesn't mean that it's going to be worth it.

I Love IT
SGB is one of the best new restaurants in Detroit. I have been there many times and I have yet to have a bad time. The Sunday Brunch is one of the best. I highly reccomend it for anyone looking for someplace special to go.
