The Anchor Bar is possibly the best dive bar in the Twin Ports area. It has good music, even if the small space does not allow for any live bands, the drinks are cheep, the food is wonderful and made to order and the most expensive meal is under $4, the staff is colorful, friendly and very good at what they do, and the decor is everything you could ever want from a place called the anchor. I was brought there less than a year ago and now all my friends go there too. We all love it. It has also won the best dive bar award from the local paper the Rip Saw. All in all a must see for anyone who is looking for good food at a great price with some of the best service in the land. Warning: For all the above reasons, the place gets busy and the cook has only one griddle to cook the burgers on, so depending on the time of day be prepared to wait a bit. Remember it's NOT fast food, it's the kind of food your grandpa always told you about from when he was your age!
