Rate and Write a Review Finding a good Irish stout on tap is harder than a lot of people might think. Beer drinkers know you can't just go to one of those chain restaurants where it's probably been sitting in the kegs since the days of Saint Patrick. If you want a real, creamy pint, you've got to go to a real Irish pub. Sullivan's on French Street has been pouring pints of the dark stuff since 1905. With 16 beers on tap, including Guinness and three Erie brews, you're bound to find a draught to suit your mood. Sullivan's also offers a menu of hearty pub fare for lunch and dinner, including grub like the Erie Cheesesteak and Irish Grilled Cheese, made with a handful of curly fries built right into the sandwich (that way, you've always got one hand free for drinking). The fish-and-chips, served on Fridays, is especially popular. Those who want to get up and move can dance the night away to the sounds of a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.
