What do you expect from a place with a name like Squid Row? Fine, upscale dining, perhaps? OK, you won't find waiters in tuxedos and a 10-page wine list, but what you will find is a fairly extensive menu of American standards like burgers, chicken sandwiches and pizza alongside a few familiar imports like quesadillas and breaded veal cutlets in marinara sauce. And of course there's the specialty of the house, the restaurant's namesake dish, available fried, in a salad, in the gumbo, or sauteed with zucchini and tomato in an herbed olive oil and white-wine sauce. Wings and drink specials are offered almost daily, and you can often catch a live band on Friday and Saturday nights.

good atmosphere. didnt eat there, but the drink prices are good, the people are friendly, and all in all, its just a fun place to be.

I don't know what this pig pen guy is talking about! Yeah when jack ass college guys and gals get all sloppy drunk the place might get dirty but not unlike any other bar on State St! Gimme a break. This place is awesome and probably my favorite bar in Erie! Spending summer nights on the deck can't be beat! Dig those bartenders who are quick with drink and a light of your smoke! Calamari's ROCKS!!!
Great drink specials and food.
They have 2 for 1 wing specials Mon, Tues, Wed, and Sun 4pm-Mid. They also have 1/2 price appetizers on Fri. 5-7pm. Mon they have $1.50 Captins, Tues $1.50 Jack, Wed $1.50 Corona, Thurs $1.75 Stoli vodka, Fri 1/2 price drinks, Sat $1.00 SHOTS, Sun $1.50 Labatts. And more specails throughout the week. You just have to know what you like and go during the specials to get a great deal and enjoy the music and food. Two thumbs up!!
Calamari's Squid Row
This is one of the classiest bars in Erie to go to, where during the day is mostly business professionals to at night where all the more upscale people come to have a top-shelf drink for a great price. The food is the best around but call early for a carryout b/c the whole town calls for the best free delivery carryout around~
