Cafe Marina is by far the best place in Eureka to dine for dinner. It has a beautiful setting and the best clam chowder. Not to mention their steak dinner is exceptional.  More Reviews

I like most oriental cuisines, and used to go to several different restaurants. Once China Buffet opened, I never go any where else. China Buffet advertises at least 80 different dishes to choose from, and they mean it. They also advertise, "all you can eat", and never complain about how many times I go back. The food is hot, fresh, and flavorful. China Buffet understands that "Chinese" doesn't have to mean bland. If anything isn't spicy enough for you, there are chili paste, pickled ginger slices, and wasabi available in the salad bar. Appropriately enough, the chili paste is directly across from the Hot and Sour Soup tureen. The ingredients have always been of the best quality, and some times even of surprisingly special varieties. In other words, it seems that if they can't get the usual ingredient, they get something better, instead of something to make do. Their recipes aren't all that ordinary to begin with, and always seem to have something extra that makes them a little bit better than you would expect, and I don't think it's MSG. The best seafood dishes are reserved for dinner time when the price is a little higher, but there is always some seafood available. They are open for lunch and dinner, and allow take-out from the buffet by the pound.  More Reviews
