I went with and friend and the service and food were both outstanding. I would go back anytime and recommend it to all who are nearby.
Gerst Haus
Portions are HUGE and tasty too. A bit pricey for Evansville (lunch wise anyway).
Our German exchange students think it is pretty good, except for the sauerkraut. They hate American sauerkraut without exception.

I had never had good germand food until I tried the Gerst but soon fell in love w/it!!! LOVE THE GERST!!!
