Angelo's Coney Island   

Back in the 70's and 80's this used to be the place to go for a Flint Coney. It was worth the visit just to watch the waitresses yell in their order for the far corners of the restaurant and you always got what you ordered. Spent many Saturday mornings havon a ham and cheese omlet before going into work at Buick. But the owners sold out to their sons and nephews who thought they could franchise the Angelo's name. They open 3-4 other places that I think are all closed now. The Buick factory is now gone and so are all of it's customers. The neighborhood is run down and gangs roam the street. Last time I went there was to revive some old memories with some friends from out of town. It was a disappointment and I never will go back.

I used to eat there alot back in the 80s. But now they seriously need to update the resturant and do a serious cleaning. I would not eat there now under these current conditions. I am not saying thier food is bad, but just is not a clean place to eat & order food. I would like to see them remodel the place.

Jiffy lube on steroids, been there wont go again.

I used to love to eat there but now the place is filthy. Come on Health Dept! Make them clean up the place or close them down!
