Although Mexican restaurants are not hard to come by in this town, La Huerta stands out above the crowd. Its superiority is no secret, either. Located on one of the busiest thoroughfares, La Huerta ("the orchard" in Spanish) has become a popular spot, particularly among the lunch crowd, who want the convenience of fast Mexican food without all the grease. Noteworthy entrees include the chile poblano and tamales, which come wrapped in a thick cornmeal blanket, and the warm taco salads served in a tortilla shell and laden with cheese. Service tends to move close to lightning speed, so plan on enjoying a leisurely meal elsewhere (or during the restaurant's off- peak hours).

This is a restraunt that everyone in the western Arkanasas area should try. The food is great and the portions are more than enough. Everytime my family and I go there to eat we always have enough to bring home and eat off of for the next day or two. I highly recommend this family restraunt to everyone.
