Mimi's Cafe   

First and foremost, Mimi's has the very best waiters and waitresses in Fresno--period. Friendly, helpful, professional, and with a real heart to serve, they definitely stand out from the competiton. They are eager to please, and substitutions or accomodations are usually not a problem--they WILL find a way! The food is consistently good and the menu, if a bit small, varies periodically. As if that wasn't enough, the music is actually good, pleasing, and conducive to dining, in stark contrast to the raucous crap that blares from the speakers at most places nowadays.

I have never had a bad meal at Mimi's. Their buttermilk spice muffins are a must have. I wish they would put their Lorraine Omelet back on the menu but they always make me one anyway! My grandkids favorite after church place to go!

I eat there occasionally because friends like Mimi's, but I find that most food is greasy or oily, including the salads. Also, they need to include some really good bread in the menu. All they serve are SWEET(oily) muffins and SWEETcornbread. Gag!
