I RECENTLY HAD THE PLEASURE OF ATTENDING A BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THE SANTA FE' BASQUE, MY OPINION IN A WORD "WOW" . THIS PLACE MUST BE THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN TOWN. NO CHARGE FOR THE PRIVATE ROOM, !!! &THE FOOD ? WELL I WAS OVERWHELMED ,IT SEEMS AS THOUGH IT IS NEVERENDING. IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD A GREAT HOME COOKED MEAL RECENTLY , THIS IS THE PLACE ! THEY HAVE IT ALL ...FRIENDLY STAFF, FULL BAR ,GREAT FOOD. IT'S LIKE GOING TO SOMEONES HOME FOR DINNER.GIVE IT A TRY YOU WILL BE MORE THAN PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. MS HAPPY

We took my parents there and was disapointed in the food. Wont go back.

Back when the original restaurant was accross from the train depot the food was very good, the portions were generous and the pecan drinks were fabulous. In addition, the cuisine was authentic and a truly great value. Years before the move the quality started to take a downward turn and the prices were starting to reflect an upward, trendy turn like the eating houses in the north part of the city. Since the restuarant moved to its Moroa location I must confess that I have only eaten there once. The food was mediocre and overpriced. I will not return.

Great food and nice people, very friendly and comfortable bar.
