Cafe Gardens   

This cafe has such a beautiful feel to it. It has great food, a wide variety of American dishes on the menu and the best sweet potatoe fries you ever will taste. Simply amazing!

I have been taking my graduate students to lunch here for years. It's a tradition all look forward to. Never disappointed. Food portions are more than sufficient. Steve runs a great place. Always friendly hostess and servers. Out of towners rave about its ambiance. Go early before Gator games as it fills up fast. Only slight downside is lack of parking during the day; more often, need to park a block away at a paid parking lot but that's a minor inconvenience. Those on the UF campus can easily walk to Cafe Gardens. Beef or veggie burgers are great; many salads as well. Highly recommended. Take your time to enjoy a meal and the outdoor surroundings.

This is a wonderful place to take out-of-state guests from November - March when the weather is mild in FLA but you could never sit outside in Kansas! Big umbrellas and a full menu. Blackened salmon sandwich is great. Burgers always tasty. Just across the street from the University of Florida. A solid bet.
