All good reasons to head for Grand Rapids Community College. GRCC has a respected curriculum in medical sciences in addition to its general liberal arts program. It's a low key environment in which to study, with a degree of instructor accessibility you won't find at a larger school. The school's football and baseball programs have graduated dozens of athletes to major college programs. The campus is in the heart of the city, making this a convenient and comfortable place to get educated.

Small classes, good facilities
Interesting to read the poor reviews, because I've had the opposite experience. I went back to college in my 30s, I got my Associate in Arts degree from GRCC, and now I'm dual-enrolled at GRCC and Ferris, working on my Bachelor's. I've been VERY impressed with the evening classes at GRCC that I've taken. The class sizes are small, so you get good interaction with the instructors, and the facilities are excellent. And, obviously, the price is fantastic! So much less money than Ferris's tuition (or any other major university's), and in my opinion, the classes are just as good. It's a great value for the education you're receiving, and I highly recommend it to anyone who's serious about their studies. It's a great way to get a college education at a great price.
Grand Rapids CHILDISH COLLEGE!
Ask anyone who's been there, this place is a joke!
The only reason anyone even goes there any longer is to pick up cheap credits to transfer to a DECENT school that hasn't caught on to GRJC's lack of interest in education.
If you're looking for the definition of "Morally Bankrupt," definitely spend your educational dollars here.
