Locals dig the food, as do the few travelers that get to try it. The after-hours scene features live music (blues, rock, funk and the aforementioned zydeco) and serious drinking. It's renowned for its selection of draft beers (about 50, but who's counting?), as well as its impressive single-malt scotch collection. College students and corporate types alike are common here -- apparently, the allure of the microbrews is too much to resist. People also like the friendly, casual vibe.
