A mixed, mellow crowd awaits you at this tried-n- true gay bar in downtown Greensboro. Though drag shows happen often (every Wednesday, plus whenever the management feels like it), you don't necessarily need to be decked out in feathers or glitter to feel at home. People don everything from leather to jeans and a T-shirt. There's always a DJ; the music theme changes nightly. Sometimes it's '80s, sometimes house, sometimes Top 40. The exception is Sunday, that's when karaoke kings and queens hit the stage. Get there early if you want a table on a busy night, there are only five or six of them. Otherwise you can vie for a bar stool or just throw inhibition to the wind and get out on the tiny dance floor. There's also a pool table and a few video games. -- Lena Katz
