Bert's is a real catch: It features the area's widest variety of seafood. Starters include seafood chowder, oysters and steamed littlenecks. Fish is flown in from around the world and may range from a local trout to Pacific wahoo. Seasonings are often bold Asian and Southwestern accents like salmon with a five-spice crust and scallops in a ginger-lime glaze. Desserts are also bold-and rich-from chocolate and peanut butter pie to a butterscotch and almond tart.

The BEST Seafood anywhere,,,
By kla2b on 05/14/2007
For going on what, 20 years? Even when I went away to college, Bert's was where I always had to eat when I visited. Fabulous, fresh and consistent food and service...and the best Key Lime Pie ever. Every family occasion we celebrate with you. Hats off to you Mary!

Still The Best Seafood in Town
By apodes on 03/01/2007
Bert's Seafood Grille is still the best seafood in town by far with a standard set menu and daily menu specials featuring fresh fish and shellfish. The preparations are exciting and unique with great use of fresh spices and herbs they grow themselves. The staff is well versed and efficient. They are also a Wine Spectator Award Winner as well. Overall a fantastic place to eat. I guess the person who wrote in Jan. 2005 they they would be gone within a year is now eating crow instead of fresh seafood. It's Feb. 2007 and the place is always packed. Reservations are not necessary but a good idea on the weekends. A place that stays busy all the time does so because they serve GREAT food. Bert's is one of those places.
