It's a bit frayed around the edges, and the clientele is sometimes as well worn as the furniture, but The Garage is an open and friendly gay nightspot offering a casual atmosphere with lots of flirting and fun. It's the type of place you can decide to visit on a moment's notice without having to worry about what you're wearing -- perhaps the truest measure of a good neighborhood bar. There's a great mix of customers who show up to enjoy the periodic male revues, Leather Nights and dance-till-you-drop parties with live, hot DJs. You can even satisfy your (other) appetite with fabulously low priced shrimp and oyster specials. Happy hours run nightly, but the crowd doesn't get going until night really sets in. - M.L.Scott

Good place to go to see people youve known for 40 years during happy hour and Sunday afternoons.
