Located in the heart of downtown Norfolk, Jack Quinn's is a traditional, Irish-style, three- level pub that is dark and homey. Contributing to the dark atmosphere of the pub are the dark wooden furniture and decorative knickknacks, which were all hand-carved and shipped from Ireland. As you make your way into the first level of the pub, you'll find the full-service bar, which serves specialty drinks including Guinness on draft; Gaelic and Irish coffees; and other beers such as Tennents Lager, Murphy's Stout, Harp Lager and Bass Ale. The second-floor mezzanine level and third level make up the restaurant. Edible offerings include burgers, chicken sandwiches and full-course chicken, fish or beef meals. All meals are served with authentic Irish soda bread. Dying for some boxtys? You won't find these traditional Irish potato pancakes in many Hampton Roads establishments. Jack Quinn's Irish Pub specializes in veggie, corned beef or Guinness beef-filled boxtys. They look much like a folded, stuffed omelet and are served with Colcannon potatoes. Traditional Irish fare such as Irish lamb stew, corned beef and cabbage and boxtys are specialties served at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub. Jazz and acoustic musical entertainment is offered on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. TIP: Thursday at Jack Quinn's is sing-along night. An acoustical guitarist plays Irish favorites. So, kick back, order a Guinness and sing along to the Irish tunes. -- Ellen Anitai

This place has gone to heck in a handbasket. I used to be a regular, now I warn people to stay away. Management is slipping and so is food beverage & service. Whatta waste of what used to be a good spot to go. I am sorry downtown Norfolk has now added a blemish to its resume! BLAH... bring back the old good times.. & Being open 7 days a week
