Poppa's Pub & Restaurant   

Poppa's is the real Virginia Beach not the tourist experience or chain restaurant. It has plentiful and good food fresh from the grill. In the summer there is a fun outside deck with glowing palm trees. In the winter they have a freestanding stove that keeps the place toasty. Try to seafood or homemade BarBQ. Bar drinks are reasonable and food prices are great. If you don't like smoke, avoid dinner after 9PM when there are live bands or karaoke. It has one of the largest private collections of Elvis memorabilia. Almost everyone, from SEAL teams to UPS drivers are regulars. It doesn't put on aires.

nice place to party, but sometimes gets too packed. and watch out for the construction.

Poppa's is a good place to go when you've already got a good buzz going. The people there are friendly and its got a good pub atmoshpere. However, they could serioulsy use some new pool tables.

Just go to poppas and you will see what i mean. this is a warm, friendly pub full of characters who you will get to know just by going there. no one sits alone at poppas.
