The NorVa returns. And this time, it's better than ever. Once a '20s joint, the NorVa Theater, which stands for Norfolk and Virginia, has reopened as part of the city's revitalization effort. Labeled one of the hottest venues in town for live music, the NorVa Theater is the place to be. Located in the old Downtown Athletic Club building, it boasts top acts and a relaxed warehouse feel and has been likened to Washington, DC's 9:30 Club. Owners hope it's the recipe for success -- and so far so good. The NorVa books big names.
