Youve got a choice when you visit Hodads. Casual hanging is your main option at Hodads Bar & Grill, or you can walk next door and get elegant. Fancy Locks Pointe Restaurant is located in the same building. Hodads is to Locks Pointe as serf is to king.Live entertainment is a draw with local favorites like The Mitch Foutz Band, The Gangsters, Louis McGhee, Dave Klages and the H.M. Johnson Band stopping in to play.The nautical environment of Hodads is apropos for its location overlooking the busy intercoastal waterway off the Elizabeth River in Chesapeake. The menu is varied with pasta, seafood, beef and chicken; entrees are less than $13. Lighter offerings like burgers and varied sandwiches are available, too.TIP: Saturday nights, Hodads has deck parties from 4PM to 9PM. Food is terrible

I was once a regular at Hodad's but unfortunatly I have watched it go downhill. The food is overpriced and not very good, and the building itself is starting to fall apart. For a once elegant restaurant, the bathrooms and general decor are going by the wayside

Never Had A Problem

The live music is great as is the food, sorry roberttaylor55 had a problem, but if you let one customer get away with something the system breaks down and there the beginning of chaos. Great Place! Recommend it to all!

Manager was horrible...

Used to go there once a week by boat. Was there visiting from Germany over the Thanksgiving Weekend. Was 10 mins late for the raw oyster special. The server went to the manager and asked if she would extend the time for us since I was in from Germany. She said NO! My friends called the place the next day and were offered some lame excuse for the way she acted. I have spent alot of money there and so have my friends... But it won't happen again. If someone from there wants to make things right with me .... e-mail me... roberttaylor55@aol.com. Maybe I will come back. It is such a shame for such a nice place to be run like it is...
