Situated on Forster Street, a main thoroughfare into downtown Harrisburg, Garrason's is conveniently located across the street from the State Museum and near the Capitol building. With inside seating and outside seating during warmer seasons, Garrason's is appropriate for both casual and business meetings. There's a fully stocked bar and, for those looking for something to eat, creative sandwiches. The food is good and the service friendly.

Great food, great atmosphere
Garrason's is under new ownership. The new owner has remodeled the bathrooms and cleaned the place up. The deck is looking great as well as the fresh paint job throughout the restaurant. the kitchen staff is brand new, and the food is better than ever. Plus the staff is very attentive, friendly and attractive. Can't wait to see even more changes!

stop in quite often overated owner has no personality save your money
Good comfort food
Not the place for gourmet fare, but really good soups, nice folks, cozy atmosphere. I personally have always had good service here. When you don't want to make a big deal over dinner ...just want a nice place to crash with a good beer selection, this is your place.

I love this place! Any time we go, we are instantly greeted with a smile by one the great bartenders, and food fairly is priced.
