I dont know what this ranklepolitic character is referring to, but the half door is truly a reflection of its owners and not in which the way he (she) refers. They all have been nothing but nice to my friends and i since we started going there when it opened. I couldn't let someone with such obviously incorrect assumptions about shawn and the bar go without comment. For anyone else out there who has never been to the door, maybe you should try it and see exactly how great you are treated there- you won't be disappointed. The owners and bartenders and waitresses and everyone else who works there keep that place in great condition and keep improving it all of the time!!! I think it is one of the best run places in the city and an example of what we need more of. Don't knock good things when this city is working to improve its image... and even if you disagree- you don't have to make up things about people- especially to try to defame their character to make yourself feel better. We dont' need people like you in the half door anyway!!!!

This place used to be great. It's a shame Skehan and his temper had to ruin it. Tough to run a successful business when an owner is throwing things at customers for no reason. Get some help, skehan
