Our local favorite

The extraordinarily knowledgeable servers make this dining experience our favorite anywhere near our home. Just to stop in for a light bite or a full meal, tastes are exquisite. The menu variety and regular items or specials always gives us something to savor. The wine list compliments the flavors and we can always find something of great value. Fresh, healthy and delicious is the underlying theme that ties all of the menu together. We love the bistro/Mediterranean flare. Very informal, comfortable, and definitely NOT pretentious. A 100% best choice and value as far as we are concerned. Everyone whom we take there comes back for more! (ask for Meaghan for our favorite in service/knowledge)

having a great moment

I have dined at Arugula and have been surprised with the mouthwatering treats they create. Recently, I had a family gathering we did not duplicate the selections from the menu from appetizers to deserts and shared tastes from all the selections no one at the table could find something they disliked with any of the choices. The food was awesome with the subtle flavors and unexpected combinations of ingredients. The service at Arugula was perfect in timing the courses arrivals and very friendly and attentive to our needs. If you wish to enjoy a great moment with food you cannot go wrong at Arugula.

I think Arugula has the most inventive and original menu in West Hartford. It seems like everyone else has been copying them. Where else can you get an eggplant napoleon? or those mussels served in a tea pot? I will, however, agree about the service...it hasn't been the same since the tall italian guy left. I can't comment on the wine becuase I don't drink, but my friends have always been satisfied.
