All typical questions and all in a day's work for the bartenders here at a popular Honolullu nightclub, one that has a live monkey working behind the bar. No, the little guy doesn't serve drinks. He stays behind a soundproof wall of glass, shielded from loud music and secondhand smoke. And despite the ongoing controversy over animal rights issues, the club has more going for it than just its zoo-like appeal. Typically filled with a trendy weekend crowd, the place has the vibe of an underground urban dance club -- hardcore sound system, rotating DJs, occasional live acts and funky lighting. As for the monkey? He's well cared for, but declined to give us a personal interview.
