Freshly renovated and wonderfully appointed, this hotel is one of the newer arrivals on the Waikiki scene. Located two blocks from the beach near the junction of Ala Moana and Kalakaua Avenues, this 313-room hotel is just a block from the city bus line and walking distance to many of the Waikiki nightclubs and restaurants. All rooms feature air-conditioning, cable TV, bathrobes, coffee makers, phone, mini-bar, pullout sofa, refrigerator, microwave ovens, VCR's and daily newspapers. Rooms also offer one king bed or two queens. Rooms on high floors are best and connecting rooms are available upon request. The hotel also has two fine restaurants, the Harlequin and Cafe Picasso serving Mediterranean and Pacific Rim selections. Lottie Tagupa
