The hotel overlooks Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head. It is just one half block from the beach, and a short walk to the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium and the heart of Waikiki. It's also just steps from the Waikiki bus lines with service to Hanauma Bay, the Ala Moana Shopping Center and beyond. This hotel is known for their weekly grand Hawaiian buffets. There are lobby gift and sundry shops, a Laundromat, soft drink and ice machines. The hotel room categories have refrigerators while the studio and suite categories have kitchenettes. A room that faces Diamond Head and the park will be most enjoyable. All rooms have air-conditioning, daily maid service, color cable TV and telephones. -- Lottie Tagupaa
