You walk through darkness and into the light of disco. With music blaring, you gaze around to see people dressed in anything from casual beachwear to slinky Cher-type outfits. A stage beckons with its group of the night and an upstairs lounge provides an escape from the crowd below. Beware: If you get too smashed, you may end up getting pierced at the shop next door.

I have been going to the Wave for years! Being from Kona, it has always been a fave Waikiki hot spot to go to. If you like to people watch- the diverse crowd is always interesting, and the music is off the hook!
