visted kui ainas (north shore) in dec. it was crowded and chaotic as usual but that is part of its charm. the service was polite in spite of the mob and we got our food in record time. the burger and fries were great but was told later we should have had the mahi mahi burger!even better!! will visit again next trip!

Burgers are awesome if they have avocados. The Haleiwa stand has more charm than the one at Ward Centre. For those who only want a reasonably large patty, order kiddy burger at $2.80. Their only fault is abrupt counterpeople.

Kua Aina has delicious sandwiches. The wait, although sometimes long, is well worth it. The counter as well as kitchen help work extremely hard. They do their best to accomodate you. I thought that these work skills would stem from a solid management foundation. I was wrong. On numerous occasions I've witnessed people ignored, brushed off, and basically just patronized. However, none of this came from the counter or kitchen, it came directly from the owner. I've been there enough times to know that this wasn't a mix up or a one time incident. I was shocked and disgusted by this unprofessional behavior. I've read some of the other customer comments and I hope that this review will open their eyes to put some blame beyond the workers.

YOU GUYS CAN LEARN A THING OR TWO FROM TEDDYS BIGGER BURGERS . . .THEY RULE!!!!
