Brothers Frankie and Nicky were inspired by the local lingo of their hometown, New York City, in naming their friendly Northside bar and live music venue. With 25 TVs, four pool tables, dart boards, video games, live entertainment, a spacious dance floor and drink specials until 7PM daily, Forgetta'bout It is a place where you can do just that. On Friday and Saturday nights the bar hosts some of Houston's best local bands, with a leaning towards classic, southern and contemporary rock. Boot-scooters stay tuned: a country music night is in the works. Forgetta'bout It holds pool tournaments every Monday at 8:30PM and Dart Tournaments every Tuesday at 7:30PM. Wednesday is Karaoke night and Thursday features a low-key live music jam. Varying bar fare and snack food is offered on the weekends, with special dinners throughout the week, such as pizza night on Mondays and steak and crawfish on Tuesdays. Forgetta bout it is a great place to go if you want to just unwind after work during the week or hear some slamming local bands. The bartenders are pretty and friendly, and give you just about all the attention you could want, without stifling you. If it's not busy, they'll shoot a game of pool with you, or challenge you to a game of air hockey. When Mike Conde plays, the house rocks...and he's going to be there on Friday the 23rd of July. Like the name of the place implies, you can forget about all the other stuff in life and just chill.
