Mingalone Italian Bar & Grill   

We went to Mingalone the other evening and the food was really bad, the server was not polite. We asked for the manager on duty and was greeted by Sergio--he was extremely polite and very understanding. I would have left my meal setting on the table and walked out of the restaurnat if that gentleman hadn't showed concern and tried to make our dinner plesant

My husband and I decided to stop in this restaurant on New Year's Eve for supper. We had been to it several years ago before a ballet and enjoyed the dessert and drinks very much. We were extremely disappointed. We were first seated by the bathrooms when there were tables everywhere in th restaurant. A practice not reserved just for us, as a couple came in after us and they too were seated in this location. The food was inedible. I had a salad and my husband has smoked salmon. They both were so salty it made them impossible to eat, and left us thirsty the rest of the night. When our waiter asked how our food was, we said that it wasn't very good and we were very disappointed with it (he could see we hadn't taken but a few bites of it). His response - "Really?" He then brought us the check, and never said another word? Thank God, we didn't get a big meal as we would have demanded some type of adjustment on our bill. As it was, it was a $20.00 lesson not to eat at this restaurant. I never write reviews, but I felt it my duty to warn others before they too have a bad dining experience.
