In ShortSince 1941, the Molinas restaurants have been a part of the local Tex-Mex landscape, as generations of Houstonians can attest to. The menu includes the famous Jose's Dip, a queso and taco meat concoction that goes perfectly with fresh-squeezed margaritas and the table's trio of salsas. Sample tacos al carbon, carne asada, enchiladas, sizzling fajitas and handmade tamales in addition to other cheese-laden Tex-Mex faves. The dining room isn't overly large, but the bar provides extra seating during peak times.
