Despite the slightly icky name, The Wet Spot has no trouble attracting customers. Sports fans can't seem to get enough of this dive-y bar, as you can tell by the crush of cars spilling onto the surrounding streets every day. It doesn't hurt that the staff is comprised mainly of attractive, flirty young women - a fact that is flaunted to full effect by the management. As you might expect, the beer flows freely here and nearly every seat in the house faces a television. If your team is playing, you'll see them here. Most people don't come for the food, but you could; the menu is better than most places of this ilk.

GAY BASHING!!!!!!!
We were celebrating a friends birthday when a table next to our party who happen to be about 5-8 males starting making "gay bashing comments" towards our party. Not only were they belligerent, but also confronted a couple of people in our party. After being ignored for a while, they comments, and threats continued. (towards our parties sexual orientation) When the bar tender-manager at the time was informed of this situation his response was "they are regulars here, and they always speak in loud tones, when watching TV" (there were NO TV's in the deck where we were.
Not only did I feel no support, but I felt as if the bar tender/ manager didnt care, and completely ignored our complaint. I guess since we weren't "REGULARS"
I HAD NEVER, EVER Felt so discriminated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rude, crude behavior did not stop, we decided to leave after one of the males from the other party got a hot dog, and put it near his crotch area and pretended to aim it at our party while swinging back and forth.
THIS DID IT....... WE LEFT.....( in disbelief)
