This is soul food with a touch of love. The greens are well seasoned and cooked to perfection. And the oxtails....Oh my goodness!! I can honestly say, this is the best soul food restaurant that I have encountered thus far. The staff were very friendly. You certainly get your moneys woryh. Once you go, it will be like an obsession trying to get there again.

AFTER SEEING THIS RESTUARANT ON JASON'S LYRIC, I WANTED TO VISIT IT. WHILE SPENDING TIME WITH MY SISTER IN HOUSTON, I WAS ABLE TO DO JUST THAT. I WAS IMPRESSED BEYOND MEASURE ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL THE FOOD TASTED. EVERYTHING SEEMED TO MELT IN YOUR MOUTH. THE PRICE MIGHT BE A LITTLE HIGH BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT. YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE THE PLACE STILL HUNGRY. A MUST SEE AND TRY RESTURANT. I ACTUALLY DINED AT A FAMOUS RESTURANT!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

i grew up in the neigborhood of 4th.ward w/ this is it . and i know how good their food's are. i now live in spring,tx but whenever i'm near, this is it i stop by for the real deal of soul food's. c.sledge
