Don't let the strip shopping center location of Amedeo's Restaurant fool you this is one elegant establishment. Melding first-class culinary delights with the ambience of a romantic country inn, this eatery on Houston's northeast side draws guests from all over the greater Houston area. Owner Tony Raffa and executive chef Dave Welch treat each diner as if they were a guest in their personal homes and the welcoming attitude has been adopted by the gracious staff. Welch's impeccable culinary intuition and the attention to every detail (read: really fresh!) combine to provide a world-class dining experience. Menu offerings are varied. The popular Southwestern Rigatoni offers a delicious blending of American and Italian styles and features grilled chicken, roasted corn, jalapenos, and cilantro in a tomato cream sauce. There are also a plethora of seafood options the best of which are typically found amid the list of daily specials as well as the more traditional lasagna and pasta dishes.
