Note: This restaurant is found inside the downtown tunnel. The Beck's Prime mantra seems to be "if it ain't broke..." Well, you get the idea. Good burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, salads and chunky fries are the staples of the Beck's Prime menu. Chili dogs and milkshakes round things out at these fashionable drive-through or dine-in burger stands. The various locations all serve as a popular lunch spot for area working stiffs and provide a good drive-through option for local residents who have a date with a traffic jam on the ride home. The small dining rooms offer little mealtime inspiration, but the outdoor decks are shady and comfortable. The drive- through is usually quick and easy, and the service -- both in and out -- stays friendly and prompt. Nearby businesses keep things hoppin' during the week, while weekend shoppers can be found on the deck with a beer and a burger. -- A. Kerr

Any objective comparison of Beck's Prime with any other burger in Houston, or anywhere else, will put these burgers at the top...period. I know the guys that started these stores and they use the absolute best ingredients you can get...period. Their shakes/malts are the best I've ever had...period. Their steak dinners are the best FOR THE MONEY...period. Nothing close to Beck's Prime.
