Put on your cowboy boots and enjoy some home-style barbecue and beer at Blanco's. Several nights a week, you can drop in to hear local and traveling country music artists, and on nights when there is no live entertainment you can relax to the tunes on the jukebox (Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, etc.). True Texans will opt for the house-favorite Pearl beer -- one of the few places in Houston that still serves Pearl -- but if your taste buds call for something different, you can choose from the full bar and long list of beers, even imports.

Yes 4 stars!!!!! My first time was last night. A big Thursday at Blancos. The service was great at the bar. Dorathy I believe was our bartender until Kevin came later. The band was wonderful and the people there was very friendly. Just your typical friendly Houston people. Quite an experince. A must stop while in Houston.
