Blue Fish House   

Outside, the ambiance is cross-timbered English country cottage, inside it's demure Japanese tearoom. Sporting this cross-cultural dislocation is the Blue Fish House Sushi & Grill. Rather than looking dinky (which it is), the petite dimensions aptly suit the purity of sushi and the just-so-ness of its other elegantly presented dishes, an array of greens, soups and entrees that display both an eye to classic Japanese cooking and trendy nouvelle cuisine. Blue Fish also offers a "U Pick It" option in which you chose your variety of fish (such as snapper or sea bass) and then pick the accompanying sauce from a choice of four, ranging from traditional curry to spicy lime to pesto to raspberry balsamic. Dark red walls enclose the dainty room, a blonde wood floor glows underneath and a far wall bursts with a red-white-black mural of an enraged samurai in fierce closeup. Throughout the restaurant are intriguing lanterns, Buddhas ornate and sanguine and happy cats, all brightening this miniature sushi happy land.
