Located in the heart of Montrose, Chances is your friendly neighborhood Lesbian bar. The atmosphere is lively and inviting with a great selection of tunes on the jukebox. Chances attracts a mostly female crowd with many local regulars, though anyone and everyone is welcome. Thursdays through Saturdays, Chances diversifies the entertainment by opening up its two-side venues. You can shoot a game of pool or cut the rug to both old and new country music at The New Barn Saloon, which won Best Country and Western Lesbian Bar in Outsmart and Girlfriend magazines. On the other end of the spectrum is The G Spot, a dance club scene where hosts DJ Miss Money and DJ til' Dawn spin the hottest mixes of Dance, Hip Hop and R&B grooves. Chances features live bands on Saturday nights and Karaoke on Mondays, where singers compete for a spot in Houston's Gay Pride Parade 2005.
